Smart Murals will take on all commissions seriously.

The process is usually fairly similar.

We always begin the discussion of ideas by showing a customer through our portfolio of paintings, paint finishes, effects, trompe l’oeil paintings, and our library of images in order to get a feel for their tastes and preferences.
We will arrange a visit to the site, and discuss the requirements - then go away and produce some design sketches – some further discussion, before returning with a finished design, which is agreed upon before commencement of work.

When approached with a commission, often the customer will know what they require.
Sometimes they will not, and would rather go through a design process with input from both parties. During this period, we will take on board all ideas, and embrace feedback.

The customer is made aware of our pricing policy and terms and conditions from the outset, and if the commission is to go ahead, a job specific contract is drawn up for both parties to agree upon before commencement of work.
We aim to be sympathetic to the customer, to respect their property and to fit in with their working methods and / or lifestyle as much as possible.
A timescale is usually agreed upon before commencement of work.
